VistaCare Communications is a leading technology solutions provider for a wide range of businesses and organizations. We currently have an immediate need for the right individual to fill the temporary position of Contracts Co-ordinator to join our Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) / Fiber to the Home (FTTH) operations in a contract term position beginning in May, 2019 and ending August 30, 2019 based out of Nova Scotia. Travel will be required throughout the Maritimes.   Students are welcome to apply!

Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Daily Contact (phone and in-person visits) of pre-determined area building owners– commercial, industrial and residential throughout Maritimes
  • Educate prospective customers about the proposed fibre-based wiring plan to their building.
  • Build and manage customer relationships with building owners
  • Coordinate daily with Project Managers
  • Record all contacts made with customers
  • Track and File all Signed Access Agreements - Upload all documents onto a shared drive
  • Achieve targeted number of signed access agreements to reach incentive bonuses
  • Operate a company vehicle or operate a company rented vehicle
  • Liaise with company management, where required
  • Liaise with cable installers where required
Knowledge and Skills: 
  • Proven Self Confidence
  • Self Starter with excellent motivation to reach out to customers, stop in for visit
  • Self-disciplined, self-motivated, able to keep self on track
  • Possess on the spot presentation skills
  • Motivation for Sales, achieving sales targets
  • Excellent computer skills, focus on Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Organized/ Attention to detail
  • Exceptional time-management and organizational skills
  • Knowledge and experience with Visio considered an asset
  • Knowledge of structured cabling and fibre optics/OSP builds is an asset
  • Understanding and knowledge of local building codes is an asset
  • Ability to understand network drawings and fibre counts is an asset
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to coordinate with team-based agents in an effective and timely -manner
  • Ability to work alone in a fast-paced environment
Experience Required: 


No experience necessary – will offer training for the right individual


Compensation and Benefits: 
  • Comfortable performing cold calling
  • Valid driver’s license and reasonable driver abstract
  • Customer Service Experience is a definite asset
  • Ability to travel throughout the Maritimes will be required
  • The successful candidate will be required to pass a criminal record check
  • Bilingual – French and English is definite asset
